MLtek Ltd. - Who are we?

MLtek was formed back in 2002 by Mark Laverty. After working in the IT industry for over a decade Mark grew frustrated at the lack of software solutions for specific challenges he faced in his day to day work. Even when solutions did exist they often came with a huge amount of bloat, were overly complex and were vastly overpriced.

Since our founding we have been providing innovative answers to various IT problems faced by organizations around the world. We are proud to specialize in creating software that solves big problems in simple ways. ArchiverFS is a prime example of this approach.

Our simple, targeted and clean designs focusing on specific problems and executed with single minded purpose can be summed up in a few simple words, function over form. You will not find any 'bloat' or unnecessary features in any of our software, it is all designed to do a specific task and engineered to do that task as efficiently as possible.

This no-nonsense aproach doesn't just stop at software design, we believe in cutting out all of the usual obstacles companies put in place that get in the way of excellent customer service. This is why we don't have any dedicated support staff. All support enquiries are handled by the developers that write our products. Yes that's right, when you reach out for support you won't spend hours trying to explain what's wrong to someone who has a book of scripted questions and responses to work from and not a lot else. You will get straight through to an expert who understands both infrastructure and our products at an intimate level.
